Telecourses
are instructor-facilitated, integrated college-level learning
experiences consisting of a set of videotapes, textbook
readings, and study guides.
TeleWeb courses are interactive instructional systems
which integrates telecourse delivery (TV, videos, DVDs, or CDs)
with dynamic online activities, resources, and tools via the
Internet.
Students view lessons through telecourse delivery and use the
Internet to participate in class discussions and instructional
activities.
Web-based courses
are designed to bring features of campus-based
classes to students' home or work computers. The instructor
provides information posted on a course Web site that guides the
student through course content, prompts discussions, and helps
students keep pace with assignments. Due dates for assignments,
a logical learning pattern, and start/end dates that correspond
with a semester create a classroom that is available convenient
time and place.
Web-hybrid courses
combine on-campus instruction and web-based instruction.
Courses meet on campus according to the published schedule of
classes but also meet online using the Internet.
Web-enhanced courses
are instructional methods, such as lectures and cooperative
education experiences that use certain Blackboard (CE6) tools, such as
email and discussions.
