Consultation & Workshops

We are available for planning and consultations in the development and delivery of traditional and web-based courses.

	Individual Consultation We provide one-on-one assistance and make campus house calls on various technology issues and options to help you reach pedagogical goals in the traditional classroom or on the web.
	Blackboard (CE6) Consultation We provide training and assist faculty in the development and delivery of distance learning courses.
	Workshops We offer ongoing workshops on a wide range of topics including tracks in the art and science of teaching, technology in instruction workshops, and general interest workshops.

Production Services

Provide us with the necessary content and materials and we’ll do the technical work, leaving you with a finished product ready for use.

	Audio and Video Capturing/Editing Ready to venture into the world of multimedia? We have capturing and editing software which can be used to add audio and video to your traditional or web-based course. We can work with cassette tapes, 8mm movies, and VHS.
	Multimedia Streaming Large multimedia presentations such as Flash, video, or audio can be streamed off our RealMedia multimedia server. The streaming server will allow students to download large multimedia files from their home computer.
	Digitizing and Scanning Services We can help you convert almost any analogue materials you may possess into digital files. Do you have 35mm slides that need to be digitized for PowerPoint? Do you have paper documents that need to be converted to MS Word? Do you have images or transparencies that need to be converted to digital images? The ITC can provide assistance for all your scanning needs.
	CD Burning and Labeling Need to put a PowerPoint presentation on a CD? How about a CD with course resources for your students? We have the ability to burn and label CDs.
	Faculty Web Page Creation We can help you set up your faculty Web site rapidly. You supply the content, syllabi, and we’ll work with you to create a basic web site using a faculty Web page template.
	WebCT E-Packs The ITC can load the publisher's E-pack and standardize the E-pack to meet CSM standards for web-based courses.
	Application Support Need to learn a particular application skill—create a PowerPoint presentation, save a file as a PDF, scan slides more effectively, create a Excel grade sheet? We can guide you as you learn new skills or improve existing ones.
