RONALD G. BROWN, TELEWEB COURSE ADMINISTRATOR
TELEWEB COURSE NEWSLETTER FOUR
SPRING 2006

It is probably safe to say that you are greatly relieved that the spring semester has finally ended.  Give yourselves a well deserved "pat on the back."

I would like to take this opportunity to advertise the  HST 2010 teleweb course called The Unfinished Nation: Early Colonization to Reconstruction (to 1877) which will be offered in the Fall 2006 semester. The creators of the HST 2020 teleweb course also produced the HST 2010 teleweb course.  Required course reading, as of the printing of this newsletter, will consist of the following:  Brinkley, Alan.  The Unfinished Nation: A Concise History of the American People Vol. I, To 1877  (Fourth Edition), and Namorato, Michael V. and Charles S. Palmer.  Distance Learning Study Guide for The Unfinished Nation (to 1877), Volume I.    Additional course requirements, at this point, will include four examinations (bluebook required), a book review, a posted brief book review and required comment, and a posted interpretative issue statement and comment, all being similar in format to the examinations and assignments you experienced this semester.  Extra credit options will also be available. Course lectures will be in a DVD format,  assignments will be submitted through WebCT, and examinations will be taken at the college's testing centers.

Thank you for enrolling in the course; it was a pleasure to have you as students for the spring 2006 semester.

Keep up the good work in your next course(s) or whatever it is you are about to undertake, and have a pleasant summer!
