The ITC subscription to The Grant Advisor

The Grant Advisor Plus subscription offers on-line access for CSM faculty and staff and features many features, including the newsletter in Acrobat PDF format, database searches, deadline listings with extensive hyperlinks, and much more, all in an easy-to-use web interface.

There are 2 ways to connect, IP Access (on campus) and Password Access (off campus):

1. IP Access (no password required, for use on campus only)

If you were denied access, please contact the ITC.

2. Password Access (for use off campus)
This is useful for faculty and staff who wish to access the site from home or when traveling. The password changes each month.

Service-Learning Faculty Fellows Program

The goal of the Service-Learning Faculty Fellows program is to train and support faculty in designing or modifying courses that integrate service-learning into the course curriculum. Ball The NEA (National Education Association) Foundation for Improvement of Education www.neafoundation.org supports elementary, secondary and postsecondary faculty and staff to improved student learning in public schools, colleges and universities.

NEA encourages applications from
1. teachers with less than seven years of experience in the profession
2. education support professionals

Learning & Leadership Grants may be made to individuals-$2,000 (professional development experiences) or groups-$5,000 (for collegial study, including study groups, action research, lesson study, or mentoring experiences for faculty or staff new to an assignment). All professional development must improve practice, curriculum, and student achievement. Applications are reviewed three time per year (Feb 1, June 1 and Oct 15)

Student Achievement Grants -$5,000 to improve the academic achievement of students in public schools and public higher education in any subject areas. The proposed work should engage students in critical thinking and problem solving that deepen their knowledge of standards-based subject matter. Applications are reviewed three times per year (Feb 1, June 1 and Oct 15).
