We are pleased to provide you with access to this repository of
video learning objects, located at
www.intelecomonline.net . Contact the ITC for the college’s Login
Information
Note: Login Information must be kept confidential, and may only be used by
the Subscriber (the college) and its Authorized Users. Unauthorized use,
distribution or transfer by any means of the Login Information, either
with or without Subscriber’s knowledge, is prohibited and may constitute a
violation of INTELECOM’s copyrights. Subscriber is responsible for
maintaining the security and confidentiality of all Login Information, and

All you need to get started is your Employee ID number.
Employee Express Services is located on the CSM intranet (www.hawk.csmd.edu).

Faculty Work Room at Leonardtown Campus C217a
Two new software programs were installed in the Faculty Work Room at the
Leonardtown campus; Impatica for PowerPoint and Respondus. Additionally, a
microphone to add PPT narration is available for use by the faculty. Paul
Trent (C105), Faculty Support Manager has the headphones available for

Instructional Technology
Equipment to support
instructional technology is available in many classrooms.
Part-time faculty should discuss use of this technology
with the department chair as early as possible, preferably
prior to the beginning of the semester so rooms can be
assigned appropriately. Information Technology Services
(ITS) will
post information on their Department Intranet web site
regularly to help you keep up-to-date on the technology
used in the classroom environment. A list of instructional
technology-equipped rooms may be found on the ITS web site
at
http://www.hawk.csmd.edu/its (Only available
from a CSM campus). Training for using the instructional
technology equipment is also provided through the
Innovative Teaching Center (see
Training Opportunities).

Part-Time Faculty
Workrooms

Innovative Teaching Center (ITC)
Faculty and staff have access to the Innovative Teaching
Center at the La Plata campus, Library building, room
LR202. The center is normally available during the Library
hours of operation. The ITC physical facilities include a
learning lab for faculty training and meetings,
workstations for individual work, printers, and scanners.
Access to COMCAST TV programming is also available.
Additionally, the ITC staff can provide assistance and
resources for any pedagogical or instructional technology
related course enhancement. Contact the ITC for more
information.

Part-Time Faculty Workrooms
The ITC staff, together with the ITS, work to equip the
part-time faculty workrooms of each campus to maintain a
minimum of one shared workstation with all the latest
hardware and software applications that support
instructional technology.

Departmental Workrooms
At the La Plata campus, Departmental workrooms are also
scattered across campus for full and part-time faculty
use. Contact your Department Administrative Assistant for
locations and more information.
