Using MyFiles
With Netware 6.5 users of Myfiles (http://myfiles.csmd.edu)
can now upload and download multiple files.
Uploading: You can upload
multiple files or folders by clicking the plus (+)
button and entering or selecting additional files or
folders.
Downloading: If you select multiple files or one or
more folders, they will be compressed into a .zip file
prior to downloading. You have the option to name the
.zip file or accept the default file name assigned by
NetStorage.
For more information on how to use MyFiles visit

I received a WordPerfect file from a student that I can't read in
Microsoft Word:
If you are using Microsoft Word 2003 there is a WordPerfect translator
already installed. If you are not using MS Word 2003, you can download
Microsoft's free Word 2003 Viewer (search for that name at
http://www.office.microsoft.com),
which can open WordPerfect files as well as Word documents. To avoid any
possible conflicts between files types and word processor types, it's a
good practice to save your files as .rtf. Use the "Save As" command to
convert a document you want to save to Rich Text Format (.rtf), document
any word processor can view. This advice applies to students as well.
Ensure they save their files as .rtf before sending them to you. |
