February 28
Joel Kinison
See
presentation
The World Wide Web has grown from a media delivery
network to a community-driven domain. The new web, named
Web 2.0, provides ordinary users the ability to create
their own content, and become involved in the content
creation process. This is most evident by Wikis, Blogs,
Photo Sharing sites and Podcasts. As educators, one of
our goals is to incorporate the capabilities of new
technologies into our classroom. By doing this, we are
also providing our students with essential skills that
they will need to succeed in the job market. The session
will showcase Web 2.0 free Internet productivity tools
that can be incorporated into your classroom. |
